Little Red Riding Hood {PP72}

Hiya friends...happy Sunday! Welcome to another week with The Paper Players.  This week LeAnne has a fabulous holiday color challenge for us:
These colors gave me a holiday vibe but you could go in many directions with them depending on which color is most prominent in your design.  I paired them with Rita's fantastic sketch from Freshly Made Sketches:
 I had not used the Greeting Card Kids set in awhile and I just love the little girl image:
A blender pen with Riding Hood Red, River Rock and Always Artichoke classic inks made quick work of coloring the image.  I also added a little Dazzling Diamonds to her coat, hat and the snowy ground.
You know I have just about every color of the wide striped grosgrain ribbon...even some retired colors like the Riding Hood Red piece I used here.
I tied it off with some linen thread and two mini jingle bells--they make the sweetest little sound when the card is opened!
One other little detail is the stamped border from Creative Elements that I used to frame the center panel.
And there you have it!  I hope I've inspired you to play along with us at The Paper Players.  Be sure to check out the rest of the design team for some fabulous inspiration:

You always add the most wonderful details, like the tiny bells, the glittered accents, and the elegant scroll borders. Beautiful job with the colors and a fantastic design, as well!

Simply adorable...she is cute without all the glitter. Add that and she's just about perfect. Love the ribbon treatment with the bells. Wonderful card!

Such a sweet card, Nance. You've added just the right amount of Dazzling Diamonds to make everything shimmer and shine! And your description of those little bells makes me sorry that I don't have them. A little jingle does the heart good!

OK, Nance...I don't know what is sweeter..your card or that sweet little gal who is perfectly accessorized for the holiday? The Dazzling Diamonds are the perfect touch and I love how you used the stamp to frame the main panel...on BOTH the inside and the outside. Those bitty bells just add to the charm. Everything about this card makes me smile. Full of ho-ho-holiday cheer! Big hugs sent your way! :)

Nance this is adorable. The little girl with sled is my favorite of the set... She looks so pretty in her little coat. My favorite part is the jingle bells on the ribbon. Jingle bells always get me in the 'spirit' of the holidays beginning..Hugs.

A fabulous card, Nance - so many wonderful little details. I love the bells tied on with the thread and the bit of added glitter makes everything wintery. I also love the snowflakes falling among the words of the greeting.
