Our daughter started first grade this week and this is the card I made to greet her the morning of her first day. I meant to enter it in the Stampin' Royalty "back to school" challenge but I missed the deadline! I used the sketch from the Stamping 411 operators and have managed to sneak it in barely under their deadline so at least I met one oops, nope, missed that one too...oh well...it's been a busy week around the Canopy!
I just love the Play Date designer paper featured here and you if you've been reading lately you know I can't stop using the Woodgrain background stamp! I had some non-SU paper that fit my 'back to school' theme perfectly and is a pretty close match to SU's Real Red so I went with it! My daughter doesn't mind that it's not "all SU"!
