My card is super, duper clean-and-simple...just some patterned paper covering the card base and a top layer featuring these pretty die-cuts. I covered the whole card front with some pretty [retired] Stampin' Up paper then used a [retired] Butterfly Thinlit to cut out some shapes from the thick whisper white cardstock. I used a small circle die to cut out some random circles and let even more of the pretty paper peek through. The sentiment is from the companion stamp set, Watercolor Wings and will be perfect to send to a friend.
I hope you've enjoyed my card today...be sure to check out the rest of the loveliness from my teammates over at The Paper Players. We would be happy for you to join us before the challenge closes on Friday, July 27th at Noon (PST). Thanks for stopping by!

I love how you used the Affectionately Yours DSP. I still have this and didn't know what to do with it! Thank you so much for a great idea and your great card.
This is a great challenge, Nance. I really had to put my thinking cap on for this one! The random circles elevate the whole card to a new level - such a super idea!
Really pretty card, Nance! I love the beautiful patterned paper and your butterflies frame it perfectly. This was a fun challenge, too!
Nance what a great card. Love how the DSP matches up with the die cut to form the body of the butterfly. Simple and love the white space... hugs.
Your card really makes that DSP pop and I like how you added some small circles for even more peeks! Thanks for a fun challenge this week! Hugs, Annie
Love that paper Nance and those butterflies show it off a treat! This was such a fun challenge - one of my favourites I think!
Nance, I love this idea for our challenge! SO creative and different. It really made you think! Your card is lovely! Those pretty butterflies are fabulous! It showcases this gorgeous patterned paper! The little circles are genius, too! I hope you have a marvelous weekend, My Friend! XX
Nance, such a great challenge this week. I love the paper behind the die-cut butterflies and that sentiment is perfect. The wonky stitched border is just perfect way to frame your focal elements. Fabulous card, my friend. Hope you have a great weekend
