Crazy for You at The Paper Players {PP233}

Hiya friends!  This week at The Paper Players, my sweet friend Sandy has an awesome sketch for us...wanna see?
I couldn't wait to work with it and I just know I will be using it for many other projects.  Love the circle element and the squiggly lines are fabulous.  The lines could be interpreted any way you like but I chose to sit down at my sewing machine and do some quick stitching.  Take a look:
With that big circle, I really wanted to feature some pretty DSP and this one from the Flower Pot stack was has just the right cheerful vibe I was going for.  I paired it with some of the coordinating colors, Night of Navy,Tangerine Tango and Blushing Bride.  The Crazy for You bundle is so much fun to play with providing the framelit word, the sentiment I stamped on the banner and the flower!
Instead of snipping off the thread from my stitching, I attached a glue dot to the loose end and tucked it under the flower.  It made a fun little loopy element that is so trendy right now.  I also snipped each petal and using a bone folder, bent them up a little for extra dimension.
This card it headed to a good friend who recently got a new job and I am, truly, so happy for her!  I would also be happy to see you join us over at The Paper Players before this challenge ends on Friday, February 27th at Noon (PST).  I'm going to have to cut this short friends--we're in the middle of a two-day volleyball tournament and this team mom needs some rest!  Thanks for stopping by!

What a cool creation! That DSP has sat unused in my stash because the colors are so intimidating to me, but you embraced those colors and went with it! Bravo to you! And I love your little loopy threads too! How sweet!

Nance this is so pretty. Love floral peeking out and your stitches just highlight this too. The larger flower just appears to jump out of the field of flowers in the background... at least to me. Beautiful.

Nance this is gorgeous!!! I love the stitching - I can never be hassled to get my machine out of the cupboard to sew on a card, but boy does it step this card up a level!! Love the use f the Flowerpot paper with the navy and bright pop of orange from the flower. This is one of those papers that is so bright and busy it's scary to use I think, but I love it here - I'll be taking a leaf out of your book my friend!
