Fussy Flamingo Lingo {PP202}

Hi all!  Happy Sunday and welcome to another week with The Paper Players.  Sensational-Sandy has a fun Tic-Tac-Toe challenge for us this week:
Diving right back into my newest products, I started off with intentions of doing the diagonal Any Shade of Pink--Patterned Paper--Birthday but I ended up with an X by also including Twine and Embossing!  Check it out:
Oh my, I cannot tell a lie. This card took awhile. I mean a really long while.  It started with a kernal of an idea and I was struggling to make it work but I persevered and while I'm not really sure who the recipient might be, I think it turned out pretty cute in the end.  There are all kinds of crazy details here--I seem to be fond of them--like the large polka dot embossed background, the starburst die, the layered banner sentiment, oh and these gals:
I'm really having a hard time putting down this sun/starburst image from Kinda Eclectic.  And look how easy the flamingos were to fussy-cut.  OK, well..maybe not easy but relaxing.
I am so glad I ordered the Fringe Scissors.  I pooh-pooh'ed them at first (yes, that's a word) thinking I already had a pair I used to cut up junk mail, lol.  These are different, the blades are closer together creating nice thin blades of grass and they cut paper like buttah!
Even more goodies on the inside....Fabulous Four (a bargain bold sentiment set) and so much fun with Photopolymer Boutique Borders!

I hope you'll come join in the fun over at The Paper Players before our challenge closes on Friday, July 4th at Noon (PST).  The other designers have all kinds of goodies to show you so be sure to pop by their blogs and say "hi".

Wow, I can see how much work went into this card, Nance. Love all the layers and details. The pink flamingos and starburst scream Florida to me! Know anyone in the sunshine state? (Wink, wink)!
