Birthday Blossoms {PP158}

Hi all!  Just popping in with a scheduled post for Sandy's first time hosting at The Paper Players!  She's chosen some beautiful colors for us to play with:
These colors seemed so pretty and feminine that I had to pull out the Stippled Blossoms set:
I used the faux letterpress technique of sponging directly on the embossing folder before running it through.  Makes for such lovely depth and dimension:

Sorry for the short post, friends!  Please do check out the fabulous work of my friends on The Paper Players and then join in the challenge fun before it closes on Friday, August 16th at Noon (PDT)!

This is such a lovely card--you simply must add the recipe to your post.

As much as I love the front panel of your card, the inside is still more beautiful! May I ask if you stamped the Stippled Blossoms in Sarah Sand (or something similar) before stamping them with the pink inks? It seems that I can see a softer color blossom peaking out around your main images on the inside panel. I love the look of it.

Just Beautiful. The texture that shows on the background is awesome with the Pear Pizzazz. Great card!

Gorgeous! This is one folder I don't have yet and it looks beautiful inked this way, especially as a BG to those lovely florals!

Nance, once again I can't decide which is more beautiful, the inside of your card or the outside. I love the stippled blossoms stamp set and these colors worked so well with it, and I love what you did with the embossing folder. Gorgeous!

Thank you Rita! Yes, I used Crumb Cake ink (stamped off once) as a background for the flowers on the inside.
