Just a Little Note {PP88}

Hiya friends! It's Sunday and you know what that means....yep, it's another week at The Paper Players!  The always amazing Ann has a sketch for us this week:

So versatile--that center shape can be anything you want and I love the sideways sentiment.  Me, I stayed pretty true to the sketch and dug out a much-loved but collecting-too-much-dust favorite set--Aviary.

I used a fresh spring color combination of Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Crumb Cake.  I've been experimenting with background stamping and used the birds and birdcages to stamp tone-on-tone images to the card base:

You can also see the little flowers I added with the Itty Bitty Punch pack and some leaves snipped from the Bird Punch.  And because I had the birds in their cages on the front...

I had to release them on the inside!  See how they rocked open the cage--they look a little tipsy in their excitement don't they?!  Tee hee.  I hope that you're excited to play along with us at The Paper Players this week.  Ann's sketch challenge runs through Friday March 30th at Noon (PST).  Hope to see you in the gallery!

Nance,
Great card and love your color choices... the deep blue really makes that yellow POP. The tiny flowers are too cute.
I always love when YOU use this set... the little birdies are too cute and so glad you set them free on the inside... hugs.

This is just one of the cutest sets out there and you use it perfectly. Love the cages and the touch of flowers for each, and the inside does make you smile.
Fun card.

I simply adore this, Nance.....especially the little birds on the inside who have gotten out of their cage! I haven't used this set yet - I just got it - and you've inspired me to pull it out and let the birds play. There has been a robin outside singing away - so he wants me to play too.
Have a great day.

Oh my gosh, this card is sooo sweet! Love the cute little flowers on the cages. I think I am one of the only ones left that does not own this set, but every time I see you make something with it, it goes right back to the top of my list:)

Ok, cuteness called and it wants it's card back! Haha! This is so "tweet" and fun, Nance! I'm telling you, they really need to put your smiling face next to that stamp set in the catty, because you use it beautifully every time! Hope your week is going well! Hugs! :)

Such a cute card, Nance! I think my most favorite part is the itty bitty flowers "sprinkled" throughout. The smallest detail makes the card complete. Beautiful colors and those little birdies are just so sweet. Love it!
