Isn't Fall the best season? Cozy sweaters, crisp cool air, warm cinnamon doughnuts....well, that's the fall of my childhood anyway! Here is Florida, it doesn't feel much like Fall yet but I can make it so in my studio and what fun I had with all the autumnal goodies from the Holiday Catalog...take a look:
From the moment I received the Wonderful Wreath bundled stamp set and framelit, I coulnd't wait to use it on a Fall card. Here, I embossed it in gold on Soft Suede and pulled the colors from the DSP for the sweet little leaves in Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze and Soft Suede. This great sketch from The Friday Mashup was the perfect layout for the wreath focal point--once I turned it straight up that is!
Thought you might want to see a close up of these leaves from another Holiday Catalog set (have I mentioned how wonderful this catalog is??!!) called Fall Fest. Did I mention it has coordinating Framelits? Yep, bundle please! :-)
Thanks so much for stopping by today, friends! Do go check out the fabulous inspiration from the rest of The Paper Players Design Team...we hope that you will join us before our challenge closes on Friday, September 12th at Noon (PST).

Nance, don't you just love Wondrous Wreath!? And you do it proud with your card. The linen thread and burlap ribbon look great with it!
ReplyDeleteSuch a gorgeous card, Nance! I love what you did with the burlap! And the inside of the card is great too!
ReplyDeleteHi Nance,
ReplyDeleteLovely card and the way you used the burlap, Fabulous. Speaking of "Fabulous" how about all those die cut leaves and on the interior of the card, so dang cute! Guess I've got to break open my Wondrous Wreath set too now that you've inspired me
hugs,
Mo
Beautiful Nance! You have convinced me I "need" the Wondrous Wreath set. Using it for fall really makes this set versatile. Marvelous fall card!
ReplyDeleteLove that you used this stamp set for a fall wreath, Nance! And so glad you were able to get together with your stamping friends!
ReplyDeleteLove your fall wreath Nance - I'm so needing to go and create one of these! I love those die cut leaves and the way you carried the leaf design through to the inside of your card - it makes me want this set so badly!!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty, Nance! I love the gold embossing and the frayed burlap…just right for Fall…whenever it gets here! :)
ReplyDeleteI think my favorite part is the burlap and how you have it placed behind the wreath...such a great fall card!
ReplyDeleteI love spring and fall best too, but it is not much cooler in NY right now than FL. Yesterday, 85 degrees and 87% humidity. Craving a bit of autumnal weather, and your card has inspired me Nance! Love the burlap trim and the cluster of leaves. I can see a wreath like this hanging on my front door for Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteOh, I just love the burlap on your beautiful Fall wreath! FABULOUS! SO happy you were able to stamp and play with your friends! How fun! XX
ReplyDeleteGreat wreath and love the papers.
