Sunburst of Happy Colors: PP282

Happy Valentine's Day, friends!  I hope you have a fun day planned with loved ones--near and far!  Wonderful Laurie is our hostess this week at The Paper Players with a bright and happy color combination:

We're in Tampa, FL this weekend for our daughter's volleyball tournament and these colors perfectly reflect the sunshine and bright skies we are seeing.  I hope these colors bring a little sunshine to your corner of the world--especially if it's cold and snowy.  With the Florida sunshine in mind, I couldn't resist breaking in my Sunburst Sayings bundle:
I am in love with this sunburst die!  It's so cute, especially when layered in two of the challenge colors, Daffodil Delight and Tangerine Tango.  The little polka dot sun rays and the sentiment are both from the coordinating stamp set, Sunburst Sayings.
I added some gold accents with Gold Thread and sequins and the Pool Party Glitter ribbon is a dream to work with!
Here's a better angle to see the pretty gold vellum clouds.  I used a die from Papertrey Ink for the clouds and I love the additional touch of gold from some retired holiday paper.
This stamp set comes with a bunch of sayings and sentiments that work just as well on the inside of the card.  The only image not from Sunburst Sayings is the Daffodil Delight brushstroke from A Work of Art.  The rest is all from this great stamp set!

I hope you enjoyed my take on Laurie's sunny colors today!  Be sure to stop by the rest of the Design Team for even more inspiration!  We hope you will join us before our challenge closes on Friday, February 19th at Noon (PST).  Hope your day is full of sunshine!

  10. So great minds really do think alike!! Funny how different our cards are though, even though we used the same colours and die! I love the layering and texture that all the details of your card add - you do the whole collage thing so well, it makes my card look under-dressed! I hope you had a nice dose of sun in Tampa last weekend too.
