Lovely as a Fall Scene {PP263}

Hi friends!  It's another week with The Paper Players and Laurie has a fun, and timely, clean-and-simple challenge for us:
Oh how I wish it looked like this photo around here but alas, it is still reaching in the 90s everyday with plenty of summer style rain.....sigh.  At least it's fall at our local Starbucks, lol!  Anyway, I was very glad that this week was a clean-and-simple challenge because I had about 10 minutes this week to make a card!
 ...and that's about how much time it took me to make this card!  It is a super simple one-layer card made with ink pads, sponges and some large post-it notes!  I used two post-it notes to mark off the strip of my base card and sponged in between with Mossy Meadow, Tangelo Twist and Hello Honey inks.
This image from the Lovely as a Tree stamp set remains a classic and will always have a place in my stamp room.  This row of bare trees are my absolute favorite and perfect for so many different types of cards.  Stamped in Early Espresso they really look lovely against my fall palette and create the perfect clean-and-simple Fall scene.

I hope you've enjoyed today's super, simple card...and my super, simple post! ;-) Be sure to check out the rest of The Paper Players design team and their fabulous creations.  We hope you will join us before our challenge ends on Friday, September 24th at Noon (PST).   Thanks for stopping by!

  6. Nance, this is beautiful! The gorgeous strip of color is perfect to create the feeling of Fall. I stopped at Starbucks for my first pumpkin latte the other day. It is all the Fall we have here, too! Maybe soon! XX

  12. An oldie but goodie stamp set Nance - love how you used it for your one layer card with that gorgeous sponged panel; I love cards that take 10 minutes but look like they took hours lol!
