Now, these little squares can be any shape or element--just so we can see the basic sketch. Here's my take on it:
I had a really hard time photographing the black cardstock. It looks like it has been give a chalkboard treament but I promise, it's just plain black cardstock. Even though I didn't use any on today's card, I took my color palette from the Motley Monsters DSP: Basic Black, Sahara Sand, Crushed Curry, Tangerine Tango and Bermuda Bay--love it! The card is very straight forward just stamped the images on Whisper White and punched with the 1" square punch. The moon was cut with a Circle Framelit and stamped with the line image from (you guessed it!) Gorgeous Grunge. I love the witch in this set--her shoes crack me up! She was embossed in black on Sahara Sand cardstock and, yes, fussy-cut.
Ghoulish Greetings is a great sentiment set from the Holiday Catalog that I've used on the front and inside. Don't these little guys look cute stacked on top of each other?! Almost like they're building a ladder to the candy, lol!
And speaking of candy....be sure to check out the eye candy from the rest of the Paper Players Design Team and consider playing along with us before our challenge ends on Friday, October 3rd at Noon (PST). We would love for you to join us!

Nance, this is one of my most favorite cards of all the ones you have made. Such a creative take on the sketch. The big, texture moon, the witch as the final element.... it all comes together beautifully.
