Hiya friends...happy to bring you another week's challenge with The Paper Players. This week, the always-amazing-Ann has a theme challenge for us:
I am certainly thankful for spring! We've started to see a taste of it here in north Florida. Yesterday was blue skies and around 70 degrees and all the azaleas have started to pop in our yard. DH and I are on spring break from work this week too so even if it was cold I would still be thankful!
I had some fun with the Happy Watercolor stamp set and more Sweet Sorbet designer paper--I can't get enough of it! You'll notice that I used the Scalloped Tag Topper punch on BOTH ends of the Whisper White paper so I could run the ribbon right through making my own ribbon slide tag!
The flower image was stamped in Jet Black Stazon for a crisp finish and the watercolor splotch image stamped in Summer Starfruit and Pool Party. The background doily is a MDS download that I cut on Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock with my e-cutter...what fun!I love the look of the watercolor splotch stamped across a cardstock panel. Using all the colors from the front really carries the design through to the inside. The Lots of Thanks stamp set has some wonderful sentiments that make good companions for outside/inside creating. I hope you enjoyed my thankful for spring card today! Be sure to pop over to the rest of the Design Team to see what fabulous creations they have for you. Then, I hope you'll join us over at The Paper Players before the challenge closes on Friday, March 7th at Noon (PDT)....thanks for stopping by!
