I paired LeAnne's sketch with this week's fresh and funky color combo at ColourQ:
I needed a birthday card for a sweet little boy who is turning 7 next week and these colors seemed perfect for the stamp set I had in mind:
What...you've never seen a Tempting Turquoise brontosaurus? Or the rare breed with a Pumpkin Pie belly? Well, now you have! Arielle's fun colors seem right at home on this little dino friend from the Dinoroar set. With his unexpected Pumpkin Pie toenails, he looks like he walked right out of a children's book. I love the little grass stamp from this set which I stamped in Basic Black using it again with Basic Gray for shading.
I had so much fun playing with these colors and the sketch. I hope my card inspires you to play along with us at The Paper Players this week. Be sure to check out the rest of our fabulous design team and join in the fun by Friday, August 31st at Noon (PST).
