The flower silhouette was stamped directly on the DSP once in Wild Wasabi and again in Garden Green. The Garden Green image was stamped just a little bit over from the Wild Wasabi one. This gives a really cool shadow effect. Before inking my stamp with Garden Green, I inked it Versamark and then directly on the Garden Green stamp pad. After it was stamped, I sprinkled Clear Embossing Powder and heat set the image. The result is a partially embossed and darker image. Of course, I had to add a few adhesive backed Basic Pearls. Love all the sizes available on one sheet!Isn't the taffeta ribbon bow yummy? Here I used Kraft taffeta that has since retired but the taffeta ribbon is available in many colors and is so easy to work with. I almost never tie a successful bow but it's actually easy with the taffeta ribbon. Here's a great video tutorial from Dawn McVey on the bunny ear method of bow tying that I used on today's card.
A couple little images from Tiny Tags punched with the Medium Jewelry Tag were all the sentiment this card needed. I played with a few things but just thought anything else was too much. That's all for today. I hope you will come along and play over at the Paper Players and Play Date Cafe challenges--it's just what you need to get your creative energy in gear! Have a good one...cheers!

Very pretty===I love that shadow effect and the embossing!!! I just did a paper share and have only dipped into this paper once!! It's perfect for the challenge colors, too! I love the tags, too...now you've got me doing them as well...stay tuned for tomorrow's CQC post!
So pretty...love that DSP and everytime you use that ribbon punch, I know I need it! LOL! Great card...love that double stamped image.

This card is positively INSPIRED! I'm DELIGHTED to see how you've incorporated the wonderful PDCC colors into this terrific card! Your stamp work is OUTSTANDING! You have my fingers itching to get inky! Thank you, SO much, for sharing this with the PDCC! Yee Haw!
Love the woodgrains..........rich, elegant card!
Nance such a great card. I love the woodgrains as well, but my favorite part is the shadowed flowers. Love that technique, and the touch of pearls and tiny tags puts it over the top. Good luck in the challenges.
Beautiful card Nance! I love the shadowed image on the wood grain designer paper! Perfect card for the challenges!
Beautiful cards, the flower image looks wonderful on the woodgrain! Thanks for playing at the PDCC.
Hi Nance, another wonderful card, don't you just love the woodgrain stamp it's so adaptable.
I really admire your "shadow" technique, quite clever. The DSP certainly fits the color challenge at PDCC too, great job.
So beautiful, Nance! Love the silhouette.. Thanks for playing with the Play Date Cafe!

LOVE that woodgrain paper! Great job at our color story--this fits the colors perfectly! Thanks for playing along with us at the PDCC:)
Where do I start??? Gorgeous card Nance! My favourite part is the double stamped image with the pearls. Nice job!
Nance, beautiful job. I love the little piece of ribbon on the vertical panel - it's just the right amount of ribbon. The wood stamp works so well the way you have repeated it - especially with the dsp. Gorgeous card!
Congrats on being our next guest designer!
Thanks for joining the Paper Players again this week
hugs
